On March 30th, 2016, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University together with Kamphaeng Phet Culture Center, Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Administration Organization, Sripatum University Khonkaen, Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration, and Kamphaeng Phet National Museum Jubilee had organized “ASEAN Youth Camp: The Celebration of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Birthday Anniversary and Thai Heritage Conseravation Day” between March 29th – April 2nd, 2016. The event was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Soree Pokaew, chairman of the university council and gave to reporting speech by Asst. Prof. Suwit Wongboonmak, president of KPRU. The objectives of this event were 1) to have Thais and fellow ASEAN students meet and exchange their dramatic dances and 2) to have Thais and fellow ASEAN students learn and disseminate their own art and culture. This event was held at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University and Kamphaeng Phet NationalMuseum Jubilee.
Welcome delegations from Geogia Gwinnett College, USA
On June 30, 2016, Assoc. Prof. Suwit Wongboonmak, KPRU President and lecturers from Faculty of Science and Technology welcomed delegations from Geogia Gwinnett College, USA at Office of the President.
With this, the two universities discussed about academics collaborations in the future, student and staff exchange including Mathematics and Biology field.
At the first activity, Geogia Gwinnett College's students will attend a mobility camp at KPRU in the next year. This program will make the two countries' students have a chance to share their language and culture with each other. At the same time, they can learn to live and do a project in Mathematics or Biology together as well.
